Most of the larger hosting companies offer fantastic reseller opportunities that it’s very often more profitable to be a reseller than to operate your own facility. This is especially true of the hosting companies that maintain less than 500 - 1,000 subscribers.

Are you getting less for your money if you use a reseller?

No! In fact, often you will receive the same plan at the same price, with a more personalized level of service using a reseller. This is not to say that some of the huge hosting companies don’t give great personalized service, but this is one of the common advantages of using a reseller.

Bottom line - make your decision on other factors before simply ruling in or out resellers.
